Spring Fashion Week

One of most favoritest bloggers of all time, Emery, is hosting a spring fashion week and I'm toying with the idea of joining in. Being that I'm so, so, so brand new to blogging and haven't even told anyone that I am blogging, is it silly for me to join in with all these other experienced, lovely ladies? Maybe it is and maybe it isn't, but ohmygosh Eeeeeek!!! i think it's just too much fun to pass up!

P.S. argh! I can't even upload things correctly......just goes to show what a newbie I am.

Accidental Shopping Spree

Shopping will be my downfall. It truly will. Last week in a moment of earnest resolution (or maybe it was insanity) I decided I needed to watch my spending more closely and not buy any new clothing for the next six months.

My timing couldn't have been worse. With the changing of the seasons I (like any other clothes loving girl) was dying to freshen up my spring wardrobe (and of course it didn't help that I lost about half my clothes in the move):). Ah, and then came temptation, in the form of one of my favorite stores having a huge sale on all the little items I'd been dreamily loving from afar. I should have known better than too even step foot inside, but, being human, and greatly overestimating the strength of my will power, I did. And I didn't come out alone.......

What I spent: $68

Total saved: $112

So I felt a little guilty shopping when I shouldn't have, but saving that much on stuff that I loved.......exhilarating.

One Of Those Days.......

.......where I don't have it all together (then again, do I ever have it all together? not so much) and I can almost feel myself unraveling. Wishing it was seven o' clock and I could justify going ahead and putting the little man to bed. So so tired and poor B is in a crabby, clingy sort of mood due to brand new toofers coming in. Poor baby.

In other news.......Went downtown last Monday to watch the uncles play hockey at the AAC. Made for a late night for B, but it was awesome, and one late night won't hurt anybody, right?!

Just Me

I'm not even totally sure where I'm going with this blog.....I've been obsessed with the idea of creating one ever since I got pregnant and started reading mommy blogs which led to all sorts of others (fashion, photography etc) that I now follow religiously. So here I am, finally starting my own. Whether it turns into a sort of stories of my life journal, my own fashion outlet, or just a place to post my pictures for fun, remains to be seen. For now it's just me, piddling around with various random ideas as I try to figure out where I'm going. Not much of a start, but hey, you have to begin somewhere.
